Project Based Learning Blog post
Step One
Selecting a context
Lost in the Bush
Save the Bush
Fun in the Bush
Step Two & Three
Create questions and identify one broad question
How would you contact people when you are lost in bush?
Step Four
What did I already know about my question?
Step Five
Design your creation
⇨ Smoke Signal
It was tricky to find a topic because what we already knew we couldn’t make and we didn’t have the right materials
Step Six
Build your creation and write something about it
Morse Code If it has - long line. Then u do a long pull out.( Like the first one on G). If there is a . It’s a short/little pull out ( Like the first one one A).
You can do the Morse code with Lights, Flags, Beeping noises and Using the smoke signal.
Step Seven
Reflection
How did it go? It went really good because everything went how it was meant to go. Accepted the wood not going in the right place
What went well? Morse Code, Sort of painting and the bit where u put the burning liquid in.
What was a challenge? Getting the wood in the right place and screwing through the whiteboard
Step Eight
Evaluate
What would you change next time? Don’t paint It because Me and Jack both agreed that we won’t paint it next time or just a different color
What would you improve next time? Try not to get big drips on the sides
